Hotel Bathroom Renovation in Mallorca
A hotel bathroom is renovated twenty or two hundred times over, to the same drawing, in the window between one season and the next, by a company that has to hand every room back finished together. It is a different job from a villa bathroom and it wants a different kind of company. Describe the property, the number of rooms and the window, and we pass the request to bathroom renovation companies that take on rollouts.

What makes it a rollout
One guest bathroom is designed, specified and built as a prototype – the sample room. Everything about it is decided there: the shower, the surfaces, the vanity, the fixtures, the lighting, the way the waterproofing is detailed, the finishes that will be cleaned every day for years. Then it is repeated, and the repetition is the project: materials ordered in one quantity, a sequence that moves floor by floor, trades that do the same room in the same order until the last one.
The constraints are the hotel’s. Rooms out of service cost money, so the work is planned to the day and to the corridor. Guests in the rest of the building hear and see as little as possible. And the materials are chosen for the housekeeping trolley as much as for the brochure: surfaces that take cleaning, fixtures that take use, a shower floor that stays safe underfoot and a drain that does not block.
What a hotel bathroom rollout usually covers
- A sample room, built and signed off before the rollout is priced in full
- Strip-out, corridor by corridor, with waste removed without crossing public areas
- Waterproofing detailed once, correctly, and repeated identically
- Showers – walk-in or wet room – sized and detailed for guests of every age
- Surfaces and fixtures chosen for durability, cleaning and replacement
- Sanitaryware, vanities and mirrors in one specification, ordered as one quantity
- Ventilation, lighting and heated rails on the hotel’s own systems
- A sequence planned to the day against the reopening date
- Snagging room by room, and a maintenance schedule handed over

What a hotel request should say
- The property and the number of rooms or bathrooms
- Whether it is a refurbishment of existing bathrooms or new ones in a conversion
- The typical bathroom size and layout, with a plan of one
- The window: when the hotel closes and when it must reopen
- The level of finish, and whether a designer or an architect is involved
- Shower, bath or both, and any accessible rooms
- Photographs of a typical bathroom as it is
How your request reaches a company
Mallorca Bathrooms is a comparison service. A request for a hotel bathroom rollout goes to the bathroom renovation companies on our list; they quote the work and carry it out, and any agreement is between you and the company you pick.
-
01
Describe the job
Tell us the property, roughly what you want and where it is. Photographs and a rough plan help, though neither is required.
-
02
We match it
The request goes to companies that work in your area and take on this kind of job at this size.
-
03
They quote you
Each company contacts you directly with its own price, timing and approach. We do not set any of it.

You compare and choose
Put the quotes side by side and take the one you want, or none of them. Using the site costs you nothing.
Can the work be done while the hotel is open?
Often, floor by floor or wing by wing, with the rooms out of service planned against occupancy. It costs more in sequencing and in protection of the public areas than a closed-season rollout, and the companies will price both ways if asked.
How long does a rollout take?
It depends on the number of rooms, how much each changes, and how many rooms the company can have open at once. The sample room sets the time per room; the sequence sets the total. Ask for a programme against your reopening date, not an estimate.
Who designs the sample room?
The hotel’s designer or architect where there is one; the bathroom company where there is not. Either way the sample room is signed off before the rollout is priced in full, because it is the only way to know what the other rooms will cost.
